This six-session online course provides a practical introduction to futures trading, order flow analysis, volume profile, market profile, and execution strategy. Delivered through a series of interactive 90-minute sessions, the course is designed to help traders understand how futures markets operate, how to read real-time market behaviour, and how to apply volume-based tools to improve decision-making.
The course begins with the foundations of futures trading, including contract structure, date codes, market participation, order types, depth of market, and the role of larger market participants. From there, it moves into order flow trading using footprint charts, covering market imbalance, point of control, supportive and stopping volume, absorption, sequencing, delta, and confirmation across multiple time frames.
Participants will then develop a deeper understanding of volume profile and market depth, including static volume, profile shapes, poor volume area recovery, and how volume interacts with volatility. The course also introduces market profile concepts such as point of control and value area, helping traders identify key price zones and auction behaviour.
Later sessions focus on execution accuracy, including initial balance, cumulative delta volume, on-balance volume, VWAP, VWAP standard deviation, and VWAP-based trading strategies. The final session brings the material together through practical trading strategies, including dynamic volume analysis and divergence trading, before concluding with an integrated review and Q&A.
By the end of the course, participants will have a structured framework for analysing futures markets, interpreting order flow and volume data, identifying high-probability trading areas, and improving trade execution using professional market profile and VWAP-based techniques.
