Do I need prior trading experience to join a course?
No. Previous trading experience is not required. Our courses are designed to support learners at different levels, providing expert guidance, practical learning and ongoing mentor support throughout your studies.
What is the best trading course for beginners?
LAT offers a 1 week, a 4 week and a 12-week course all of which are suitable for beginners. If you’re unsure which course is right for you, get in touch with a member of the LAT team to discover more.
Is it possible to study LAT trading courses online?
LAT’s Advanced Trading Course, Trading Skills Course and Introduction to Financial Markets and Trading Course are all available to be studied either online, on campus or via a blended combination of the two. Our specialist financial courses are also available for online study only.
Will I get a certificate after completing an online trading course?
If you study our 1-week introduction to financial markets course, or our 4-week trading skills course, you will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion. However, if you study our Advanced Trading receive, you will receive a Level 5 Diploma in Applied Financial Trading.
Will LAT courses help me start a career in trading?
The knowledge and skills taught at LAT will enable you to analyse markets from a fundamental or technical perspective, but you will also gain an insight into the vital aspects of trading psychology and risk management.
